opka.gr is an electronic shop of exposition and distribution of its products via Internet of the individual company with distinctive title Opticals "Panagiotopoulos" (hereinafter Panagiotopoulos Optics). It is located in Nisyros Dhodhekanese in Greece (VAT number 051841083, Kos tax office). Before you enter our e-shop and browse our web page, we inform you that you should know the following terms and conditions, that are applied especially for the use of Panagiotopoulos Optics e-shop, at opka.gr. Make sure that you agree with the following terms and conditions as the further use and browsing in our web page implies the explicit and unconditional consent and acquiescence with them.

Panagiotopoulos Optics reserves the right to modify unilaterally or to renew the present terms and conditions of the transactions, which are made via its e-shop, according to its needs and merchantable morals. Panagiotopoulos Optics takes the obligation to inform the users for any modifications or changes, through the web page of the e-shop.

Information Provided and Products

Panagiotopoulos Optics commits for the quality, the completeness and the validity of information cited at opka.gr ; not only for the accurate data that are exposed but also for the services provided, by its e-shop, under the reservation of any technical or typographical errors that cannot be predicted, come up involuntary or by interruption of functioning of the web page by major force. We sent Vintage sunglasses original cases whenever they are available otherwise we will sent cases from our shop.

Limitation of Liability

Panagiotopoulos Optics is not responsible for any damages that may come up against clients / users from the execution or not of their order (except the case of paragraph 9 "Withdrawal / Return - Replacement of Products". Also it reserves the right as far as the time of delivery of the products is concerned in cases of major force.

User Responsibility

Users of the web page

Returns, Withdrawal and Product Inspection Policy

At Panagiotopoulos Optics, we are committed to providing authentic, high-quality products and transparent customer service. This policy outlines the rights and obligations of both the customer and the seller regarding returns, withdrawal from purchase, and product inspection.

Product Authenticity and Condition

All products sold by Panagiotopoulos Optics are new and 100% authentic, sourced from official manufacturers and authorized distributors.

Products may be opened and carefully inspected prior to shipment to verify authenticity, ensure correct packaging, and confirm that the item is in proper condition before dispatch.

Minor handling marks resulting from inspection or store display may occasionally be present and do not affect the product’s new condition, authenticity, or functionality.

Customer Responsibility Upon Delivery

Customers are kindly requested to inspect the product upon delivery.

Any visible issue (damage, defect, or non-conformity) should be reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photographic evidence where possible.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, customers within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify Panagiotopoulos Optics in writing within this period.

Following the withdrawal notification, the product must be returned within 14 calendar days.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product is confirmed to be defective or non-conforming.

Conditions for Return

Returned products must:

be unused and in their original condition
include all original packaging, accessories, and accompanying materials
be returned with proof of purchase

The customer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product.

Panagiotopoulos Optics reserves the right to refuse returns or apply a partial refund if the product shows signs of use, damage, or is returned incomplete.

Inspection of Returned Products

All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.

If a product is returned as defective or non-conforming, Panagiotopoulos Optics will examine the item.

If the inspection confirms a manufacturing defect or lack of conformity, the customer will receive a full refund including:

the purchase price
the original shipping cost
the reasonable return shipping cost

Refunds will be processed without undue delay after inspection and confirmation.

If no defect or lack of conformity is identified, the return will be treated as a standard withdrawal, and:

the customer remains responsible for the return shipping cost
only the purchase price and original shipping cost will be refunded

Return Procedure

Customers must contact Panagiotopoulos Optics before returning any product in order to receive return instructions.

Returns should be sent using a trackable shipping method, as the customer remains responsible for the goods until they are received by the seller.

Panagiotopoulos Optics is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

General Notes

Refunds are issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
Panagiotopoulos Optics reserves the right to request additional information or clarification when necessary.
This policy does not affect statutory consumer rights under applicable European Union legislation.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation of the order can be made in the following cases: Before the order is completed, during the electronic process of ordering you can select the button "cancellation" which is down in the centre of your screen. By clicking it the process of ordering is automatically interrupted. If the electronic order is completed but the product has not been sent, you can call 2242031771 and one of our collaborators will take care of the cancellation of your order.

Difference between the price of the store and the price of the e-shop

The prices of the product of the e-shop are valid only for purchase through our website and not for purchase from our store. In any case despite the fact that we do our best for the exact inscription of the data and prices that we quote in our e-shop, we cannot exclude the possibility of appearance of typographical or technical errors.

Delay of the order

Your order may be delayed for the following reasons: The product was delayed by the supplier: In order to offer you very competitive prices, we order our products from a large variety of suppliers either domestic or national. There are cases of an order to be delayed in the customs or its transportation, with the result not to have it in our warehouse at the time we want it. In such a case, we will contact you to ask you if you want the delivery of the order without that product or to recommend an alternative one. That product will be sent immediately after the receipt from our warehouse. The product that you ordered is abolished and it isn't available: Among the products we dispose in our e-shop there are rare cases that the supplier will unexpectedly announce its abolishment. In such a case employee of our company will contact you immediately and will give you any alternative solutions. In periods of extreme weather events or strikes and in every case of major force, that may affect the transportation and delivery of your order. In case that we cannot contact you either by phone or e-mail (if a problem in your order is appeared or in relation to the product or in relation with its payment) because for example your data that you have recorded are not updated.
